Requirements

What do you need to participate in Nest Quest? 

1. Time. As a volunteer, you will need to visit your plot every other week for one hour between late June and late August. This ends up being 4-5 times, totaling anywhere between 6 and 15 hours, when you include drive time and data entry. Feel free to survey more than this!

2. Curiosity and excitement about nature and the outdoors. This project requires you to spend a lot of time outside. Having an interest in plants and insects certainly helps! 

3. Cell phone or tablet. This will be used to record data when you are in the field. You will need to download the ArcGIS Survey123 app from the Microsoft Store Apple Store or on Google Play

4. Transportation. You need to have reliable access to your plot. 

5. Internet. You will need internet access to share your habitat and bumble bee nesting data.
