What do you need to participate in Nest Quest?
Curiosity and excitement about nature and the outdoors. This project requires you to spend a lot of time outside. Having an interest in plants and insects certainly helps!
Time. A Nest Quest survey takes about 30 minutes to complete. You are welcome to do as many Nest Quest's as you would like and whatever is within your capacity. We recommend doing 2 surveys a month from June to August, for a total of 3 hours of active surveying
Internet access. You will need internet access to share your habitat and bumble bee nesting data. If you do not have home internet, find a public library near you for free internet access.
